The Science for Africa Foundation has announced a R10 million investment aimed at strengthening health research and accelerating genomic discovery across Africa. This strategic investment supports African-led research initiatives that generate high-quality data, strengthen local capacity, and promote equitable participation in global science.

The funding focuses on enabling collaborative research platforms, improving access to advanced data infrastructure, and supporting African scientists to lead complex, multi-country studies.
