 Internationalization, by collaboration with global  Synergize research work through intra- and multidisciplinary team engagement Process of HDSS In this open dynamic population cohort, initially all population in a designated area entered the system through enumeration by census; after the initial population was enumerated, all important demographic, health, and risk factors, verbal autopsy, and pregnancy observation information were collected and updated biannually.

All electronically collected data entered the database system and was used for analysis. Study sites and population It was established in 2007 and operated in the Harari region and the Oromia region in three sites among 48 Kebeles. The site includes Kersa (rural and semi-urban), Harar (urban), and Haramaya (rural) HDSS. More than 300,000 were observed under these sites.
