About the cohort

The Mildmay Uganda cohort was started in 1998 as a Centre of Excellence for comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment. Although the main cohort at the Mildmay site constitutes approximately 14,000 persons, the institution has had a more extensive contribution in Uganda by providing life saving Antiretroviral therapy to over 100,000 people.
