About the Conference

A pan-African meeting of population cohorts

The APCC Annual Conference 2026 convenes cohort investigators, researchers, data scientists, policymakers and partners from across the continent to strengthen longitudinal population health science, harmonise data, and translate evidence into policy and practice. The inaugural meeting brings the consortium together to connect cohorts and build stronger, more resilient health systems.

Call for Abstracts

Share your work at the APCC Annual Conference 2026

We invite abstracts of previously unpublished work for oral presentation. Abstracts follow one standard structure (maximum 500 words) and may be submitted in English or French. Submission is open to all — you do not need to register for the event to submit an abstract.

Abstract structure & limits

One standard structured abstract, 500 words total, in English or French, with 3–5 keywords. Previously unpublished work only.

Background / Introduction — maximum 100 words
Objective(s) — maximum 50 words
Methods — maximum 100 words
Results / Findings — maximum 150 words
Conclusion and Implications — maximum 100 words

PDF upload is controlled by APCC settings. If APCC enables “Require abstract PDF upload,” authors must attach a PDF before final submission; otherwise, the structured fields are the official submission.
